The planned conversion of the Leahy Building on Ontario Street into residential apartments is another example of River North becoming a more balanced, mixed-use community.
Adding more residents alongside offices, restaurants, hospitality and entertainment can create activity throughout the entire day - not only during traditional business hours or on weekend nights. In turn, that added energy may help support local businesses and make River North an even more attractive place for companies and employees to work, meet and collaborate.
Could this new mix of living, working and entertainment help bring a stronger workplace culture back to River North? We believe it has the potential.
