We can't wait for Summer to be here! At HUB 116, our management team loves going for happy hour after work at River Walk. This year, we heard there will be a new spot along the river to grab a drink and a snack, along with longtime favorites!
Here what's new:
• NAIA - a new 12,000-square-foot Mediterranean restaurant and event venue, is expected to open this spring at 300 N. LaSalle St. along the Chicago Riverwalk.
Here are our favorites:
• City Winery - Riverwalk location, on the south shore between State and Dearborn, offers a mix of the restaurant's most popular menu items in a place where passing boats can dock and grab a drink. There are also a few mobile bars made of wooden wine barrels that keep with the nautical theme.
• The Northman Beer and Cider Garden - This Beer Garden brings the feel of a traditional European beer garden to Chicago’s stunning Riverwalk. Featuring draft beer & cider with local and international options available on 16 taps. Serving over 50 canned and bottled local and global options, offerings include beer, cider, hard seltzer, Kombucha, wine, and premium cocktails.
