If you hear a little extra noise above River North this week… look up.
One of our favorite signs that Air & Water Show weekend is getting close is when the aircraft start making their way across the Chicago sky.
And yes - you can see and hear some of the action right from HUB116. 👀
It’s one of those uniquely Chicago moments that makes the workday a little more interesting. Step outside, head up to the deck, hear the roar overhead, and you’re quickly reminded that there’s always something happening just beyond the office.
The Chicago Air & Water Show returns to the lakefront this Saturday and Sunday, with the official rehearsal happening Friday. The free show runs from 10:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with North Avenue Beach at the center of the action.
So if the office gets briefly distracted by something flying overhead this week… we think that’s allowed. 😉
