A recent REJournals article covering JLL’s 2026 outlook projects that office leasing volume in Chicago’s central business district could reach 8.5 million square feet this year - a 10% increase from 2025.
What stands out is not simply the expected increase in activity. It is the continued focus on quality. Well-located, amenity-rich buildings are expected to remain especially attractive as companies make more thoughtful decisions about where and how their teams work.
